LMCU current account is a bank account that allows you to access a range of banking services, such as receiving money (like your salary, pension or benefits payments), paying bills, and setting up direct debits and standing orders to make regular payments. You can manage your account, check your balance and make payments – all from the comfort of your own home or the convenience of your mobile phone.

a) Insufficient fund alert sent when a pre-arranged Direct Debit can’t be paid because there aren’t enough cleared funds in your account to cover the payment. You can then pay enough money into your account by 11:30am on the following day so that the payment can be taken when it’s retried.

b) Transaction confirmation alerts sent to you every time when you use your Debit card to withdraw cash or when you pay for goods and services using your card. It will inform you the amount you have spent, the name of the supplier and the balance after this transaction.

c) Current balance alert sent to as part of our Transaction confirmation alerts.

You can receive texts alerts abroad, but please check with your service provider for any charges you may incur.

If you already have a bank account, but your account is constantly overdrawn or you pay hefty bank charges each month, then opening a Credit Union Current Account may be in your best interest.
